The Farmers Association Jeonnam Headquarters and Gwangju University implement volunteer work for harvesting persimmons in Daebong.

Around 200 people, including nursing students, participated. The Jeonnam Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (Head Lee Gwang-il) held a Dabong persimmon harvest volunteer event on the 14th in Geumjeong, Yeongam, with the participation of Head Lee Gwang-il, Yeongam Branch Manager Jeong Hyeon-jeong, Geumjeong Agricultural Cooperative Chairman Choi Yeong-taek, Vice President Jang Mi-young of Chonnam National University, and 150 nursing students, totaling around 200 people. On the day of the volunteer event, the volunteers were divided into four villages within the Geumjeong Agricultural Cooperative to assist in the Dabong persimmon harvest at farms with a shortage of farming labor.
