The first "Clean Hive Project" is beginning in Turkey

In Muğla, which is one of the most important pine honey production centers of the world and Turkey, the Metropolitan Municipality continues to support beekeeping producers with royal jelly, bee education, bee cake, and clean honeycomb projects. Producing 80 percent of Turkey's pine honey, the Metropolitan Municipality of Muğla has been supporting beekeepers in its fifth year as the "Clean Honeycomb Project", which is the first and only one in Turkey, initiated against the Great Wax Moth, one of the problems of beekeepers. The honeycomb shocking process, which was carried out in Köyceğiz, Milas and Menteşe Districts in the past years, is offered to beekeepers in Marmaris and Köyceğiz Districts this year.
