The Food and Agriculture Merchants Association organized a coordination meeting to respond to the EU's anti-dumping investigation on Chinese pea protein.

Core tip: On August 29, 2025, the European Union initiated an anti-dumping investigation into Chinese pea protein. On September 1, the Food and Soil Merchants Association organized a meeting for enterprises to coordinate their responses, to report on the progress of the case and discuss response strategies. Relevant responsible officials from the Trade Remedy Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, the Shandong and Hainan Provincial Commerce Departments, and the Yantai and Zhaoyuan City Commerce Bureaus attended to guide the work. Vice President Lu of the association attended and provided suggestions for the response. A total of 13 pea protein production and export enterprises participated in the meeting.
