[Nongsuchaksan Newspaper=Kim Jeong-hee Reporter] The Seosan Goat Farmers Association announced that it held its founding general meeting at the Seosan Hanwoo Plaza on the 24th. Around 70 goat-raising farmers from the area attended the meeting, where key agenda items such as the approval of the bylaws and the confirmation of officers to establish the operational foundation of the association were processed, marking the first step towards the official launch of the association. With the spread of health-conscious consumer trends and changes in demand for health foods, the raising and consumption of goats have been on the rise recently. However, due to insufficient domestic distribution infrastructure, the need for strengthening the industry base is increasing, including a rise in imports. To this end, the association plans to focus on improving the raising environment, disease management, and improvements in the future.
