The food and beverage fair Salón Gourmets, celebrating its 39th edition, will bring together from April 13 to 16 in Madrid more than 2,000 exhibitors of 55,000 quality Spanish products and will receive more than 110,000 professional visitors and 15,000 foreign buyers. This is expected to generate a business volume exceeding 250 million euros, as stated by the president of Grupo Gourmets, Francisco López-Bago, at the presentation of the fair, which will be held from April 13 to 16 at IFEMA. As novelties of this edition, there will be a "Grill Challenge", a "Burger Academy", a "Carbonara Challenge" and a prize for the "Best Menestra Navarra". López-Bago highlighted that Salón Gourmets will feature this year Galicia as the Guest Community and Norway as the Country of Honor, in addition to the more than 2,000 exhibitors who will display over 55,000 products.
