The Russian government has established a tariff quota for the export of grain crops from February 15 to June 30, 2025. The quota, which will be managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, is set at 10.6 million tons for wheat and meslin. No quota has been set for barley, rye, or corn. The tariff quotas are exempted for grain exports for international humanitarian aid. This mechanism is part of the government's strategy to maintain a balance between the domestic grain market and export supplies.
