The Government of Neuquén, Argentina, has announced an allocation of 331 million pesos for the Livestock Production Incentive Program, as part of provincial law 2247, to support the cattle, sheep, and goat production sector. This funding aims to promote environmental care, product quality and safety, formalization, and increase production scale, in accordance with the program's four key objectives. This marks a significant increase from the 2023 allocation and is expected to benefit 800 producers across the province, encouraging sustainable practices and improving the sector's economic and social performance. The program, open from May 1 to June 30 each year, distributes resources based on producers' productivity, environmental efforts, and good practices.
