The volume of the grain export quota from Russia in 2026 (effective from February 15 to June 30) may amount to 20 million tons, according to the draft protocol of the meeting of the subcommittee on customs tariff and non-tariff regulation of the Government Commission of the Russian Federation from October 28. A copy of the document was posted on the Telegram channel by the Russian Grain Union. The quota may extend to the export of wheat and meslin, barley, and corn. According to the document, the quota for the export of rye may be zero. It is also noted that the volume of the tariff quota may be specified at the stage of preparing the draft corresponding government resolution "in case of adjustment of volumes in terms of regional quotas."
