The harvest of these crops is progressing slowly, with only about 16% of the areas threshed. The sown area in 2025 is 90.3 thousand hectares. Threshed area - 13.2 thousand hectares (16.3%). Harvested - 18.5 thousand tons. Average yield - 1.4 tons/ha. Top regions for buckwheat yield: Zhytomyr - 2.72 tons/ha, Rivne - 2.63 tons/ha, Kyiv - 2.08 tons/ha.
