In November, Ukraine's pork imports were significantly lower, at 1.16 thousand tons, a decrease of 3.8 times compared to October, making it the lowest of the year and even lower than March levels. This decrease is due to a drop in domestic pork prices in November, making domestic pork more affordable. Despite a slight decrease in the average price of imported pork, the lower domestic prices made it more attractive. From January to November, pork imports reached 46.3 thousand tons, an increase of 27% compared to the same period in 2021. The main suppliers of pork to Ukraine during this period were Poland, Denmark, France, and the Netherlands.
