The Jeonnam Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation – Jeonnam Association of Successor Agricultural Managers, promotes the excellence of Jeonnam rice and encourages rice consumption.

In Mokpo's Peace Square, a rice cake sharing event was held for around 1,000 tourists and citizens. The Jeonnam Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative (Head Lee Gwang-il) and the Jeonnam Provincial Federation of the Korean Successor Farmers' Association (President Hong Young-sin) organized the event on the 17th with the participation of around 20 people, including Head Lee Gwang-il, President Hong Young-sin, and members. The event aimed to promote rice consumption as part of the "Nongsim Cheonsim Movement" by the National Agricultural Cooperative, which is one of the ten initiatives to raise public awareness about the value of agriculture and rural areas.
