The Peruvian Association of Hass Avocado Growers (ProHass) is facing challenges in the 2022 export season due to inflation, high costs, delays, and supply chain issues caused by the Russian-Ukrainian war. The season, which started in March, is expected to end in late September, with ProHass projecting exports of around 518,000 tonnes. The most significant markets for these exports are Europe, the United States, the rest of America, and Asia. ProHass is also working with SENASA to open markets in Australia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, and Taiwan.
