[Rural and Fisheries Sports Newspaper=Reporter Park Hyun-ryul] The Korea Racing Authority is implementing professional instructor in-service training to promote safe and systematic equestrian education. The racing authority has been designated as a special field training institution by the Gyeonggi Province Education Office for the second half of 2025, and it will conduct in-service training for elementary, middle, and high school instructors who operate school physical education equestrian programs. Previously, the training was limited to instructors from institutions that train for the horse industry and specialized agricultural high schools, but the target has been expanded to include instructors from schools that operate school physical education equestrian programs. This is in line with the policy to contribute to the cultivation of future equestrian populations and the expansion of the base for recreational riding. The racing authority operates the training primarily centered around equestrian practice to enhance understanding of the horse industry and ensure safe equestrian physical education classes.
