Spain: The lack of rains suggests a 40% drop in production for the Aloreña olives compared to last year

Less production of Aloreña olives than last year. The general secretary of UPA Málaga, Francisco Moscoso, confirms that the lack of rain will mark a campaign in which a significant decrease in production of 40% is estimated. A harvest that is expected to be short and that, depending on the areas, will start between the 15th and the 20th of September. «This is not the best news for such an important sector in Malaga.
