[Livestock and Fisheries Environment Management News=Reporter Hong Jeong-min] The Livestock Environment Management Institute received the Minister's Award from the Ministry of Health and Welfare at the '2025 Day of Recognition for Regional Community Contribution' event, jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Council for Social Welfare on the 25th of last month. This marks the first time the institute has been recognized for its achievements in contributing to the local community. The 'Recognition System for Regional Community Contribution' is a system designed to identify and recognize institutions that have performed exemplary activities in fulfilling social responsibilities, aiming to spread awareness and promote the revitalization of sustainable local communities. This award is a result of the Livestock Environment Management Institute's ongoing efforts in building an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) innovation system, along with its continuous initiatives in the areas of environmental management, social responsibility management, and transparent management.
