The Ministry of Agriculture has published a first estimative balance of the current 2025/26 olive oil campaign, which points to a total commercialization that could once again exceed 1.5 million tons, given the expected availabilities and the pace of exits observed throughout the entire previous campaign.
Therefore, it expects that exports will once again be above one million tons and that sales in the domestic market will exceed half a million.
If these figures are confirmed, the campaign would end with stocks once again below 300,000 tons. However, these forecasts will be revised. For now, the sector is already cutting production prospects due to the lack of rainfall and high temperatures in Andalusia and other producing regions.
