The Ministry of Agrarian Policy introduces eKonoply: innovations in the cultivation of industrial hemp

From March 10, 2025, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine launches the electronic system eHemp. The main goal of the system is to improve the state agrarian policy, restore Ukraine's leadership in the cultivation of industrial hemp, and reduce possible corruption risks and risks of abuse. "The new eHemp service will contribute to the development of this industry, because the application of industrial hemp is extremely wide - from the light and food industries to the pulp and paper industry. Hemp is a high-margin niche crop that has wide opportunities for processing," noted the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaliy Koval.
