The Ministry of Agriculture called the situation in the egg and poultry markets stable

The market for edible chicken eggs and poultry meat in Russia remains stable, despite fluctuations in prices for these products. According to TASS, the Ministry of Agriculture spoke about this. In particular, the cost of chicken carcasses (hereinafter - excluding VAT) from the beginning of last year to the present has decreased by 4.8 percent and today is about 157 rubles per kilogram. Eggs of the first category fell in price by 12.7%, and the second - by 11.3%. Over the past two weeks, their prices have fallen by another three and 3.9 percent, respectively. Let us remind you that the category of this product is determined by its weight. For example, for the first it is from 55 to 64.9, for the second – from 45 to 54.9, for the third – from 35 to 44.9 grams per piece.
