The Government of the Region of Murcia has rejected the modification of the agricultural trade agreement that the European Commission has reached with Morocco in order not to have to apply a ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) recognizing the commercial rights of Western Sahara. The Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, Sara Rubira, held a meeting this Wednesday with representatives of COAG, Asaja, UPA, Fecoam, Proexport, and Apoexpa where she urged the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food to "take action to reverse the negative effects of the same."
