The National Government repealed outdated resolutions of SENASA to order the current regulatory framework.

The Ministry of Economy's Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, through Resolution No. 209/2025, repealed various resolutions issued between 1991 and 2006, which were executed through SENASA, in order to organize the current regulatory framework on good regulatory practices, always following internationally agreed guidelines, and thus facilitating access to all actors in the agri-food chain responsible for compliance. The measure eliminates obsolete provisions and seeks to facilitate the operations of the productive sector, adapting the regulations to current technical and phytosanitary standards, regarding a set of issues such as the certification of quality of grains and by-products, post-entry quarantine, the registration of plant therapy, tariffs of the former IASCAV, and programs linked to fruit production, olive nurseries, among others. ...
