The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) approved the reference prices and additional variable rights for the imports of corn, sugar, rice, and whole milk powder.
Through Vice Ministerial Resolution No. 020-2025-EF/15.01, published on October 24 in the Legal Norms bulletin of the official journal El Peruano, it was established that the reference price for corn will be $202 per metric ton (MT), with an additional variable right of $0 per MT.
For sugar, the reference price will be $474 per MT, with an additional variable right of $48 per MT.
In the case of rice, the reference price was set at $490 per MT, with an additional variable right of $85 for husked rice and $122 for milled rice.
Finally, for whole milk powder, the reference price will be $4340 per MT, with an additional variable right of -$447.
