In a statement last month on the 27th, the Pork Producers Association revealed, "Since the outbreak of ASF in Dangjin, South Chungcheong on November 24 last year, it has continued to occur in Gangneung, Gangwon; Anseong and Pocheon, Gyeonggi; and finally Yeonggwang, South Jeolla on the 26th of last month, lighting up a serious alarm across the entire pork industry." The association first emphasized that it empathizes with the efforts of the government and local governments in disease prevention and will actively participate in prevention policies.
