The price of bread in Ukraine no longer depends on the harvest.

The CEO of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, Pavlo Koval, spoke about what the prices for bread and oil will be in October and what awaits the agricultural market. This is reported by News.LIVE. According to him, despite the high wheat harvest, the price of bread will still increase. "As of today, in the cost structure of one kilogram of bakery products, raw materials make up a significantly smaller share compared to previous years, when we traditionally associated the rise in bread prices with raw materials, with flour, oil, etc.," Koval noted. According to him, today significantly higher shares in the cost structure are attributed to items such as: logistics; fuel; energy carriers; electricity; wages.
