As Vietnamese durian enters the off-season, the purchase price has continued to rise in the Chinese market due to high demand. The harvest season in the central plateau of Vietnam has ended, with Dak Lak Province being the main producing area of durian. The purchase price of durians in various regions of Vietnam has increased, with prices reaching as high as 190,000 dong/kg for Musang King durian. Additionally, the Plant Protection Department of Vietnam is working on draft standards for exporting frozen durian to China, which includes requirements for fruit quality and packaging.
