The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation confirmed the forecast for grain exports in the current agricultural year (July 2025 - June 2026) at 50 million tons.
According to the department, this year's harvest will allow the country to supply around 50 million tons of grain to foreign markets in the current season.
The Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut stated at a meeting with the president in mid-October that the export potential of Russia for grain in this agricultural year is estimated at 50 million tons, in response to a question from the head of state.
"We expect that for the 2025/26 agricultural season, we will be able to send around 50 million tons to the foreign market, taking into account the carryover stocks," she said.
It was previously reported that in the 2024/25 agricultural year, grain exports from Russia amounted to 53 million tons, including 44 million tons of wheat.
