After what was undoubtedly the business movement of the year in the agricultural sector, where Profertil passed into the hands of the partnership between Adecoagro and the ACA cooperatives, it was officially announced how the share package of the new administration will be distributed. The sale of the company that manufactures granulated fertilizers, which was shared by YPF and Nutrien, was finalized in recent days, after the state oil company accepted the purchase proposal, just as the Canadian crop nutrition company had done weeks earlier, leaving Profertil S.A. in the hands of this new partnership. We speak of a partnership, but the reality is that the majority controlling stake is Adecoagro. According to what was officially communicated, after reporting the movement to the National Securities Commission, Adecoagro ended up with 90% of the shares, while ACA has the remaining 10%.
