The Seoul Gyeonggi Pig Farmers Association (Chairman Lee Jeong-bae) is implementing a support program to address the decrease in feed intake and growth stagnation among pig farmers due to the heatwave. The program will provide approximately 25 million won worth of whole milk powder to cooperative members who raise 500 or more pigs. This support initiative was established to achieve weight gain effects through nutritional supplementation, given the serious situation where feed intake has decreased and pig growth has stagnated due to the recent continuous heatwave. The supported item, whole milk powder, is a product made by powdering fresh milk, rich in vitamins and minerals, and is expected to have excellent effects in enhancing immunity and improving feed efficiency. In addition, it contains 26% protein, 27% milk fat, and carbohydrates.
