The South-Central State Enterprise – DP, Smolyan, received 6,722,032.25 leva for a project aimed at improving the conservation status of forest types of natural habitats, as well as improving the food base for the brown bear (Ursus arctos). A series of studies will be conducted on measures 46, 47, 48, and 49, as well as activities to experiment, demonstrate, and apply forestry practices to increase the capacity of forestry staff and representatives of other stakeholders. Based on the results of the studies, training will be organized, and informational and educational materials on the topic will be prepared and distributed free of charge.
