Overall, the country's harvest may exceed 9 million tons. As of October 14, 55% of the soybean area has been harvested in Russia, says the head of the Oil Union Mikhail Maltsev. This year, there is both a 9.1% increase in the sown area for the crop and a record yield, notes the CEO of the analytical company "ProZerno" Vladimir Petrichenko. "The entire colossal increase concerns the European part of the country.
