In order to replenish and preserve aquatic biological resources in 2023, over 5.5 million young fish were released into Russian water bodies, including Siberian sturgeon, nelma, chum salmon, carp, and Atlantic salmon. Carp weighing 20 grams were specifically sent to the reservoirs of the Orenburg region for optimal adaptation to new conditions. The project is part of a long-term joint effort with Gazprom Neft to replenish the population of valuable, rare, and endangered fish species.
