The state is stimulating the development of almond orchards: gardeners from seven regions will be able to receive grants.

In seven regions of Ukraine, gardeners will be able to receive state grants for the establishment of almond orchards. The horticulture support program was expanded thanks to the efforts of the Ukrainian Nut Association and the scientific justification of the Institute of Horticulture of the NAAS. This was announced by Hryhoriy Yudin, president of the Ukrainian Nut Association. Based on government resolution No. 520 of May 23, 2023, the State Horticulture Support Program (CMU Resolution No. 738) was supplemented with the possibility of providing state grants for the creation of almond orchards in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Zakarpattia, Kirovohrad, and Donetsk regions.
