The sugar beet harvest has begun in the fertile lands of Erzincan.

In Erzincan, one of the provinces in Turkey where sugar beets with the highest sugar content are grown, the harvest of sugar beets planted in March has begun. In Erzincan, where agriculture has been widespread, the arduous journey of the sugar beets, which farmers had sown with their sweat months ago on the fertile lands, has begun from the field to the factory. Sugar beets, which reached sufficient maturity in 180 days, developed early this year in Erzincan due to climatic changes. Transported to the factory by tractors and trucks, the beets undergo various processes after analysis and are turned into granulated sugar. Sugar beets, from field to table, contribute to the country's economy. Hüseyin Bayram, who harvests sugar beets in the field, explained the journey of the harvested beets to the table.
