In the first quarter, this item earned more than 839 million USD, down 18.7% in volume but up 4% in value over the same period. In terms of markets, the US was Vietnam's largest export market in the first 3 months of the year with nearly 29,000 tons of cashew nuts, worth 197.4 million USD, down 26% in volume and down 5% in value compared to 3M/2024. The average export price reached 6,830 USD/ton, up 28.5% over the same period. In 2024, the US spent a record of more than 1.15 billion USD for the first time to import nearly 192,200 tons of cashew nuts from Vietnam.
