The Spanish water reserve continues to decline and is currently at 51.6% of its total capacity, with 28,910 cubic hectometers (hm3) stored in the reservoirs, after losing 296 hm3 (0.5%) in the last week. The data provided this Tuesday by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (Miteco) certify that the rainfall was "abundant" on the Atlantic side and affected "to a lesser extent" the Mediterranean side. The maximum precipitation, however, was recorded in the central peninsula: in the Madrid town of Navacerrada, with 78 liters per square meter. Only two basins increased their flow this last week, just like the previous one: the Segura, which increased by 0.5%, and the Júcar, by 0.1%. In addition, the internal basins of the Basque Country remained at the same percentage as in recent days, 76.2%.
