The Buenos Aires government of Axel Kicillof will include in the 2026 Budget project of the province the necessary funds to finance the works of the "Bragado Node," which are essential to help mitigate the impact of water excesses in the west and center of the province. The proposal for the "Bragado Node," developed by the consulting firm Evarsa based on a study requested by the Buenos Aires Hydraulics Directorate with funding from the Federal Investment Council (CFI), includes an expansion of the Saladillo stream section and road and railway bridges to carry the flow to 250 cubic meters per second (m3/s), in addition to the widening of the discharge work in the Park lagoon to the Saladillo stream and the dredging of the Park lagoon.
