Saudi Arabia: The world's most extensive sustainable agricultural enterprise is even bigger than Slovenia

Saudi Arabia has established a large-scale sustainable agricultural enterprise in Wadi Bin Hashbal, Asir region. The facility was recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's largest sustainable farm. The farm occupies an area of 24,000 square kilometers (bigger than Slovenia), where the latest agricultural methods and technology are used. The facility is divided into two parts, each with a concrete reservoir with a capacity of 500 cubic meters, as well as automatic irrigation systems for efficient water use for all crops in both areas. The farm consists of five air-conditioned greenhouses that use purified water for irrigation - under the supervision of experts and specialists - to optimize water use. 50 fields are designated for the cultivation of fruit trees, and another 20 fields are planned to be cultivated in the near future.
