Growing tropical or Mediterranean-type plants in home gardens is becoming more and more popular in our country. Climate change, i.e. global warming caused by climate change, is now becoming more and more noticeable in Hungary. Instead of the previous long, snowy winters, shorter, rainier winters and longer frost-free periods are now typical, while the spring and autumn transitions have been shortened. Summers are hot and often dry, especially in the Great Plain, where precipitation is becoming rarer.
