Researchers from the Postgraduate College (Colpos) have developed a proposal to improve the production of poblano peppers using hydroponics in greenhouses. The study found that the use of hydroponics and nutrient solutions resulted in improved growth, yield, and fruit quality of the peppers, making it a viable alternative for production in the Alto Atoyac region of Puebla, Mexico. Poblano peppers are an important crop globally and hold cultural significance in Mexican cuisine.
