Tree Aid, in collaboration with local partners and Jersey Overseas Aid, has funded the completion and equipping of three shea butter processing centers in northern Ghana, owned by local women's groups. The project, part of Tree Aid's 'Grow Hope Project' that aims to boost household income and sustainable forest product supplies, has invested over GHC108,0.00 in the facilities. The initiative is expected to enhance production quality and efficiency, meeting market demands. The project also focuses on firewood management, increasing tree cover, and building capacities to improve livelihoods and reduce poverty.
