Kazakhstan produced 2.7 million tons of flour from grain crops and mixtures in the first 10 months of 2023, with wheat flour accounting for 2.5 million tons, representing a 1.5% annual growth. The Kostanay region was the top producer, followed by the North Kazakhstan region and Shymkent. Domestic sales decreased by 2.1%, while exports of 1.4 million tons of flour generated $464.7 million, with the majority going to CIS countries, particularly Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
