The volume of cheese imports to Ukraine in 2020 increased by 97%. In general, trade turnover last year amounted to $ 210.4 million, which is $ 101.6 million more than a year earlier. This is stated in the message of the association "Ukrainian club of agricultural business". The structure of import of cheeses was made up of such categories as: other cheeses - 56%; fresh cheeses - 26%; processed cheeses - 13%; blue cheeses - 4.5%; grated or powdered cheeses - 0.5%. The increase in imports has occurred in almost every category. This rapid growth was influenced primarily by the internal price of raw materials.
