In July 2024, Brazil's beef exports hit a record 291,075 tons, marking a 42% increase from the previous year, despite a 6% drop in average prices. Export revenue surged by 33% to $1.166 billion. From January to July 2024, exports totaled 1,731,944 tons, a 35% rise, with revenue up 20% to $6.988 billion. China remains the largest buyer, though its share has decreased as Brazil diversifies its markets. The United States and the United Arab Emirates also saw significant increases in volume and revenue. Overall, 92 countries increased their imports in 2024, while 71 reduced their purchases.
