The U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) has been conducting training seminars in Jakarta, Indonesia, aimed at boosting awareness and demand for high-quality U.S. beef and pork. The seminars, attended by importers, retailers, and foodservice operators, provided insights into U.S. red meat production, grading system, and the benefits of grain-fed red meat. The sessions also included demonstrations on meat cutting and discussions on its applications in regional cuisines. USMEF sees a potential market for U.S. pork among Indonesia's 30 million non-Muslim population.
