Five out of eleven innovative crops, which have been rewarded with 60.6 euros in the current Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), are becoming increasingly popular among producers in the Thessalian plain and the Peloponnese. These crops, including Tef, Camelina, and Tritordeum, have been extensively tested in Greece since 2020 as part of the European 4C-MED program. Several groups have initiated test programs with the goal of providing the market with seed and contractual solutions by 2023/24.
