Raspberry growers in Bosnia and Herzegovina are facing difficulties as freezers, who purchased their entire stock, are unable to export the raspberries to the EU market, leaving the growers unpaid for their half of the agreed payment. The advance payments were higher than the expected sales rate, leading to financial difficulties for the growers. The increase in production costs and the lack of interest in buying raspberries in the EU market may result in the abandonment of raspberry cultivation in the country.
