Chicken meat production and chicken egg production both experienced increases compared to the same period of the previous year, with chicken egg production increasing by 3.8 percent and chicken meat production increasing by 1.4 percent in October. When comparing the period of January to October with the same period in the previous year, chicken egg production increased by 4.0 percent, while the number of slaughtered chickens decreased by 6.8 percent, chicken meat production decreased by 4.4 percent, and turkey meat production decreased by 13.0 percent. Compared to the previous month, both chicken meat production and chicken egg production increased, with chicken meat production increasing by 6.6 percent and chicken egg production increasing by 4.4 percent.
