Tunisia is looking to increase and diversify its dairy imports from Russia, with interests lying in milk powder, whey, butter, cheeses, milk proteins, casein, buttermilk, whole milk powder, and skim milk powder. Local dairy producers, including Delice Holding and Land'Or, are eager to source these products due to their quality and to address market shortages. The process of importing these products from Russia is already underway for some companies, albeit with challenges in customs clearance. This development underscores the growing demand for dairy products in Tunisia, a net importer of agricultural goods, with its 2022 dairy product purchases totaling $56 million.
