Tunisia's fruit exports experienced a significant boost in 2022, with the value increasing by 32% to TND 176.250 million, up from TND 133.810 million in 2021, and the quantity exported rising by 41% to nearly 68,443 tonnes compared to 48,550 tonnes the previous year. Libya continues to be the primary importer, with its purchases increasing by 16% to 57,990 tonnes, followed by Italy, France, and the United Arab Emirates. However, exports to Qatar saw a decrease, falling to TND 4.6 million and 418 tonnes from TND 6.2 million and 474 tonnes respectively. The leading exports were watermelons and peaches.
