The congress has been held online for the last two years due to the pandemic. The total harvest of hazelnut producing countries, announced by the International Dry and Shell Fruit Council (INC), is 1 million 255 thousand 700 tons. 760 thousand tons of this is from Turkey. According to the data announced in INC, the total expected harvest worldwide is 1 million 393 thousand 700 tons, with 169 thousand 900 tons of stocks transferred from the 2021-2022 season. Compared to last season, there is an increase in production of 228 thousand 550 tons. INC announced a yield of 1 million 165 thousand 150 tons for the 2021-2022 season.
