In October 2024, Ukraine saw a 5% decrease in dairy product exports from September, but a 3% increase from October 2023, totaling 9.10 thousand tons worth $25.40 million. Despite the decrease, cash receipts for delivered goods increased by 1% compared to September and 29% compared to October 2023. From January to October 2024, Ukraine exported 101.64 thousand tons of dairy products, worth $250.14 million, marking a 10% increase in natural volumes and a 13% increase in cash receipts compared to the previous year. The main export categories were butter, cheeses, milk and condensed cream. However, the association attributes the decrease in natural export volumes to a raw milk shortage and the need to meet domestic demand. Import volumes were down 3% from September and 24% from October 2023.
